Join members of the AHRC community at the Annual Commemorative Program in Honor of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Hosted by The City of Glen Cove and Glen Cove City School District, this event is the oldest, continuously running commemorative celebration in the U.S. dedicated to Dr. King.
March as a community from First Baptist Church Glen Cove, 7 Continental Pl, Glen Cove, to Robert Finley Middle School – Wunsch Arts Center, 1 Forest Ave., Glen Cove, alongside other community-based organizations and supporters.
9:15 am: Assist sorting food and collecting donations and then attend our program commemorating the life and legacy of Dr. King featuring speeches from local leaders and Long Islanders, including AHRC Nassau self-advocate. Location: Robert Finley Middle School, Wunsch Arts Center, 1 Forest Ave., Glen Cove.
