Who We Are

Brookville Center’s mission is to educate and support children of all abilities

What We Do

BCCS is approved by the New York State Education Department and the Department of Health to provide educational and therapeutic services to children with developmental delays or disabilities.

There are many programs offered to children 3-21.   Our school age program at the Children’s Education Center serves kids ages 5-21 with intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, traumatic brain injury and autism. Children are referred to this program from their local school district’s committee on special education

The Children’s Residential Program (CRP) is made up of four comfortable homes, one located in Wantagh and three in Lido Beach, and serves 25 children. Children in residence have needs which require the efforts of a caring team of professional and paraprofessional staff, along with their family, to succeed in becoming full participants in their lives and their community.
